About Neal Best, Founder
Originally from Northern Ireland, Neal has over 20 years of global corporate consulting experience in the fields of economic development, growth strategy, operations and commercial real estate. Neal founded FutureMobility.io as a nexus point for where cleantech innovation meets the real world - enabling effective strategy, business development, funding, and network expansion, for organizations seeking to implement change in the clean tech space.
Neal’s unique blend of commercial real estate, market entry and cleantech expertise provides a comprehensive foundation for end users such as commercial property owners, local governments, and SMEs to explore cleantech solutions that fit their needs. In addition, innovators entering the California or US market can leverage his extensive network to establish themselves and identify new business opportunities.
Previously, he was COO of the California Mobility Center, a public-private collaborative consortium including the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), City of Sacramento, California State University and UC Davis - it provided innovators and industry leaders with programs and resources to expedite their global commercialization efforts.
Before that, he was a Consulting Manager at Cushman & Wakefield in San Francisco, Chicago, and London, UK specializing in GIS and site analytics to provide strategic location advice for commercial real estate. Neal maintains an active California brokerage license for commercial real estate. He currently divides his time between the Bay Area and Sacramento.
